Served in the bar from 12pm-2.30pm. Choose from sandwiches, light bites and an à la carte lunch menu. Also served outside (Mon-Sat) when the weather permits.

The Rose & Crown is a great place to enjoy a relaxed lunch - a sandwich with some chips or a full three-course job! If you our out driving in the Durham dales between Barnard Castle and Middleton-in-Teesdale then this is the ideal spot. On a sunny day the 'al fresco' seating at the front is popular for food and drinks whilst watching the world roll slowly by in this picturesque village at one of the best gastro pubs near Barnard Castle.
